Thanks for the additions to my examples. Now, I see that most of the
words representing sounds must be onoma.. (yes, I share Srinivas's wonder
as to why onomaetopoeic is onomaetopoeic and why palindromic is palindromic:-))

Also, it would be interesting to see if any one could add more words
like kaaki, bhEkam which do not directly represent any sounds, but
the etymology of these words can be traced to the vocal immitation
of the sounds related to them.
