Hi!
It is interesting to find this group "Telusa" totally dedicated to literary
issues. I want to share a poem that I came across, by Vemana, that I found
humorous and interesting. Since I don't know RIT well, please bear with the
script.

paala sandramandu pavvaLinchina vaaDu
golla pallE paalu kOra nEla ?
Eduti vaari sommu Entha theepO kaani
vishwadaabhiraama vinura vEma ||

Vemana brings the Lord Krishna down to the level of any worldly person who has
obsession for wealth!! Exposing the general human weakness with subtle sarcasm,
is one of the many enchanting facets of Vemana's style. And the beauty of it all
is that, it is in very simple Telugu, enjoyable by many who don't have enough
proficiency in it. Equal share of utility and beauty found in his poems make
them memorable and enjoyable.

With regards
-Srinivas
