Hello Palana ga-roo: I picked up this word sen-daa-ma-rai from the
translation of a Tamil story in a Telugu magazine some time ago.
I thought that daa-ma-rai must refer to the Telugu taa-ma-ra,
but in that story they had a footnote mentioning that sen-daa-ma-rai
is the Tamil name for man-daa-ra.
Aparently, the word Sen-daa-ma-rai is quite popular as a girl's
name in Tamilnadu.
