Nasy recent post expresses some doubts on this "SaraSchandra chandrikaa"

I wish to make some clarifications.

1. The slOkaa does not contain "Saraschandrikaa dhavaLa". Let me
show it correctly.

[ context: When two poor boys were struggling to compose a small
slOka, KaLidaasaa, who happened to observe their effort, has
completed the same for them. When they have shown the completed
slOka to the king bhOja, he smiled and ordered them to produce
the third man who composed the second line of the anusthup. ]

bhOjanam dEhi raajEndra ghruta soopa samanvitam
maahishamcha SaraSchandra chandrikaa dhavaLam dadhih.

[ meaning: O king, feed us meals with pappu and neyyi. Of course
also, with perugu as beautiful and white as moon light on a
night in Saradrutuvu ]

Sarah + chandra -> SaraSchandra

This will be due to a sanskrit sandhi.
Another similar example is

punah + charaNa -> punaScharaNa
