My father used to recite a poem by Chilakamarthi, in prise of onion.
Unfortunately, I now remeber only the last line of the kanda-padyam.
The poem (last line) is

kanugona neeyan damRutamu kaladu pakOdee!
Would somebody kindly fill in the top lines?
