ramayana vishavRuksham?

on that topic, recently i was reading this year's
SrIrAma navami edition of AndhrajyOthi in which
there were some very interesting articles on rAmAyanam.
one of them argued that "rAmuDu araNyavAsam tarvAtA
rAjyamElaDam pitruvAkyam kAdu.."
it says...dasaratha never said that the throne should
be returned to rama after the vanavasam, inspite of
repeated pleas from kausalya and others to get such
an assurance. even rama says so initially. some references
from vAlmIki rAmAyaNam were given to make it an interesting reading.
in the same issue, there was a very good article on
how rAmAyanam can be interpreted as jIvita rAmAyaNam
in a vEdAntic way. this SrI rAma navami issue
made interested reading, however, as usual, most of
it was filled with obscenities and vulgarities.
