My copy of the RTS table shows ~c for tcha (allophone of c, now
extinct) and ~j for tja (allophone of j, now extinct). c' is already
taken as equivalent of C=Ch=c' (j', however, is not taken).

Rachana, as far as I can tell from the assignment table, has no
representation for the dental ca/ja sounds.

The rachana scheme is as follows:

a aa,A i ee u oo
RU ROO LU LOO
e E ai,oi o O au,ou
M H

k kh g gh G
c,ch C,Ch j jh z
T Th D Dh N
t th d dh n
p ph,f b bh m

y r l v,w S
sh s h L R x,ksh

(There are a few extra symbols for compound letters).

The main difference between RTS and Rachana scheme (which I
believe is affilaited with ISCII) is that RTS, sometimes allows for more
options for the same letter. Other differences are listed below.

Rachana uses RU for aru instead of R,r' and LU instead of ~l
capital M stands for sunna
L for aLa
No backquotes for stress or elongation
H for visarga and G for jna instead of gh
Rachana does not recognize I,U,F,P,J,B which have assignments in RTS.

Both rachana and RTS use context dependent rules for sunna in the
middle of the word.

RTS has no symbol for banDi ra
