favorite among such things is "tikka konta lEka telugu vADeTlounu!".
One of the quite famous poems describing the cuisine is the poem
from Amukta mAlyada, which serendipitously appeared in this group,
just a few days ago, thanks to Sankhavaram pANini (I am following the
pillalamarri style of wRITing, which I didn't even know existed until
Suresh pointed it out yesterday! It saves bandwidth!).

In one poem he rattled off a whole slew of foodstuffs, just the
summer seasonal variety.
I remember part of a poem from manucaritra, where peddana describes
pravara's wife, as

anna pUrNaku nuddiyou natani gRhiNi
and SrInAtha's complaints
sajja jonna kULLU, sarpambulunu tELLu
pallanATi seema palleTULLu
and
rasikuDu pOvaDu palnA-
