Just one point of clarification (if that is needed) "on gaining access to
the group", mentioned by Ramakrishna P(idaparti).

Many a time I have been sent e-mail addresses of people to be included
in th egroup, sometimes by themselves, sometimes by third parties. They
were always included, with no questions asked as to their "kulagOtrAlu",
their tastes in aspects of TELUgu SAhityam, or their propensities to
flames, blames, or calling-names. The only thing asked (never demanded)
is that when a third party is making this request, that they post a
short introduction of the person, when I didn't know the person.

The introduction serves (this thought just came to me today!) to put a
little/subtle pressure on them to post something, instead of being a
passive reader. Not that passive reading is wrong in any sense. As
Milton has said, "they also serve who only stand and wait".
