I have been thinking along the same lines too. One problem with SCIT
is that it is unmoderated. That itself was not a problem for quite sometime
until irrelevant posts started swamping out Telugu related postings.

We can start another group soc.culture.telugu.moderated. We need
some volunteers to be moderators on a rotation basis. I would like
censoring to stop at weeding out the irrelevant posts. I am a little
uncomfortable about trying to stop flames since it is difficult to
draw a line between disgreements and flames. But if majority of the
telusa netters have arguments for a spplying stricter censoring
let us hear them.
