Certainly, quite precariously. Indeed, Sri "Arudra", mentions this in his '
Andhra samagra sahitya critra', as a slip, in the chapter about nannaya.
Indeed, even 'pOtana' once came close to a similar situation. While
addressing the goddess 'saraswati',
'kATuka kanTi nEru canukaTTu payimbada
...................................'

However, based on the context, apparently nobody could touch him.
Anyhow, probably this may be the reason why 'cEmakUra venkatakavi' said
'grahimparugadA! jANalu jArupAtulan'
