I thought that others may be in a similar predicament. The
highlights of that song as I recall are as follows:

This is a song about kaamakshi, the daughter-in-law of a walthy
family. Her brother comes to take her home to the puTTillu. kaamakshi goes
to her in-laws one by one asking them, 'maa annaloccaaru,
mammamputaara?". Each of them passes the buck saying, 'nEneruga,
nEneruga, mee -----naDugu'. Finally, she goes to her husband and asks
him, 'raccapai koorcunna raajEndra bhOgi, maa annaloccaaru,
mammamputaara?'. He then gives her permission saying something like,
'peTtukO nagalu..."

Does it ring a bell?
