Sri Paruchuri Srinivas has made a good attempt to answer. Here is a
little more contribution :
Dalit in Andhra has a different meaning, it is not just restricted to
the caste as in and around Maharastra. Dalit means downtradden
people. Hence supported by PWG (peoples war group) and
communist party.
Now coming to their literature - I read a few books by katti padmarao.
They provoke caste as the barrier and may arise communal
Disharmony among people. I do not know why they are called as
dalit literature. Probably, that is why he became the most
controversial.
--------------------
To study dalit liturature supported by Socialist Parties in Andhra
one should gain Knowledge over Dialectical Materialism (gati tArkika
bhoutikavAdamu) and Historical Materialism (cAritraka
bhoutikavAdamu) both these fundamental books of communism
discuss about how some people are plundered by some other
people.
Only two categories existed in this world. Haves and Haven'ts.
The people, who have "no money, no shelter, no food", dependent
on the upper category people in the society for their living called as
"dalits". The literature which ever discusses, brings out the facts,
about these miserable people is dalit literature. There is very good
poetry about them :

Late Ms. Vani Rangarao is well famous for her feminist movement in
AP. Her poetry book "velugu prapaMcaM" is also a good reference
for dalit movement.
ARASAM fully supports and prints dalit literature.
All the best
