I believe that we've discussed tamil songs many times before and I've
always been impressed by the way that Telugu songs are so closely able to
be recorded into tamil. I believe that somewhere in my collection I have
a few tapes of Ghantasala songs sung in tamil. Among the most prominent
of the Telugu dubbed into Tamil are Madhi Saradha Devi and Rasika raaju
thagu vaaramu kaama. They are so closely alike that some people who are
not so fluent in understading telugu or tamil easily can mistake the two
songs for being the same. As Dr. Chandrashekar said, the songs are sung
with the same emotion and brilliance as is so characteristic of Ghantasala.
