I think it is a little sad that women are so underrepresented in the
music field. I can not think of any female music writers or directors in
the cinema years of Ghantasala. I also don't know if the singer ever
promoted and female singers, writers, or directors. There are several
cases in which Ghantasala attempted to bring up various musicians,
singers, and actors, but I don't recall ever hearing about them being
women. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I think this would be a good
cause for some investigation.
