Regarding this song, 'Na hridayamulo cheli' , I remember having seen the same
song in Bengali in 1987 on (Door)darshan(or Duradrusshta depending on one's
view point). I was not knowing till then that this song was 'lifted' out of
Bengali movie. The tune is the same. No doubt of it. It confirms Sri Jampala's
observation. However this does not detract from the greatness of the trio (Sri
Sri, Saloori and Ghantasala) in adapting the same for Telugu listeners(viewers
also).
